Stephanie just called me to say that they intubated Emily about 5:00PM. Her heart rate began to increase and her breathing decreased so they knew they were about to come. Steph & Jason were able to prepare her as much as they could be Emily still had a lot of fear. She asked that they read scripture to her while she is intubated so please feel free to type out a scripture for them to read to her in the comments. Emily will be sedated the entire time she in on the vent. This is scary to think about on the front end but the hope is that she will be able to rest and relax more and her body will have a chance to fight off the infection. Please pray for this and be sure to read the post below too.

Know that Emily and family are in my prayers!!
Emily,
I want you to know that I am praying for you all. The verses that I would like to share are from Ephesians 1. I so enjoyed studying the book of Ephesians with you last year and will always remember our bible study together each time I read from the book of Ephesians. Below are some verses. Love, Beth Landreth
7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Hi Emily, Jason, Faith, and family,
The thoughts and prayers of MANY are with you. The verse I keep getting in my heart is "They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint." Isa 40:31
Love you,
Phyllis and the rest of the Wilburns!!!
Jeremiah 30:17 "For I will restore you to health and heal you of your wounds says the Lord."
I am lifting you in prayer Emily.
