Afternoon Day #4

Emily was moved to the low-acute step-down unit at the front of the TICU! Yay! This means she no longer has restricted hours for family visits and that Jason or her mom can spend the night with her tonight. This is such an encouragement.

She has also been up and walking again and had one of the chest tubes taken out. Another great step. She seems a lot more upbeat today about her progress.

Emily's Dad and Ryan are heading back to Texas today. Mitzi and Tom are making a trip to WalMart to stock their townhouse with food while Faith and Stephanie take a nap. Seems like a good fourth day so far. I'll have more Q & A answers soon as well as more details about how to serve and help them.
