Monday Update & Prayer Needs

Today has continued to be a very rough day for Emily. The pain is still not under control and they are still having difficultly finding the right combination of the various pain medications to give her some relief. She is also struggling emotionally since dealing with the pain and the vast changes that her body and life are going through have left her pretty drained and feeling very weary.

The good news is that the final two chest tubes were removed yesterday! This should hopefully help with a lot of her issues that she is experiencing but I know that your interceding on her behalf provides the best encouragement and support.

Please pray specifically for these things:
* Good sleep and rest
* Relief from pain and for the doctors/nurses to find the right combination of pain meds that will work for her
* Fresh hope, faith, determination, courage and strength for Emily as well as Stephanie & Jason
* A renewed spirit, focus and clarity even in the midst of such pain
* The medical staff to have wisdom & discernment as they seek to help Emily heal and recover
* Faith as she adapts to many changes in environment, time with Mama, and with a Daddy and Nana that are doing their best to love her and take care of her along with her Mama
* Good rest for Jason & Stephanie along with patience, discernment, and energy

Thank you for continuing to lift them up and for your love and support!

Emily,
Praying for you, especially for your pain to be brought under control. You are so strong and you continue to amaze me.
Thank you for the updates (Emily T and Mama). When I think of you Emily (M) I cannot help but think of my sisters best friend that passed away due to complications of CF when she was only 13. We were all very sad and did many fund raisers for CF to raise awarness and money. And God blessed me by allowing me just a small glimpse into your journey w/ Cf and now with your healing and new lungs. Thank you for being so willing to share your life and journey with us. Take care. May God bless you so much.
Love,
Heather L.

Oh Emily! Micahl told me about the transplant on Friday! I can't tell you how happy and wonderful this is. I told Elinda and she is thrilled. She has been on the list officially for 1 month now and you have given her hope and faith. We will pray for you and your family every step of the way. Love and miss you bunches!
